Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Stickerbook LLC (“Stickerbook”) collects when you use Stickerbook, how it’s used, who can see it, and how to delete it. It goes with the Terms of Service. How automated checks and AI are used is on the Automation and AI page.
What you give Stickerbook
When you sign up and set up your profile:
- Your accountEmail, password, display name, handle and account type. Passwords are stored scrambled, never as plain text.
- Your date of birthTo check you’re old enough, keep mature items from anyone under 18, and confirm a parent knows if you’re 13 to 17. Business Creator accounts aren’t asked.
- Your profileProfile photo and, if you add them, pronouns and links. The original photo is kept so you can re-crop it.
Creators: bank, identity and tax details go straight to Stripe. Stickerbook never sees them. Stickerbook does keep what you earn and what’s been paid out.
Sending a claim: the claim form collects your name, email, phone number, address, what you say is yours, the links and any files you add. The person who posted the item gets a copy of the claim, including your name and contact details. Files are only seen by Stickerbook. Claims and their files are kept as records, even after the item or the account is gone. No account is needed to send one.
What you make and do
- What you postStickers, sticker sheets and backgrounds you upload, pages, comments, Slap Map spots, spot photos and slaps.
- MessagesMessages you send and receive in your inbox.
- ActivityWho you follow, what you collect, your basket, coin purchases and what you spend coins on.
- Reports and blocksReports you file and people you block.
What’s recorded automatically
To show creators how their work is doing and to improve suggestions, Stickerbook records:
- Views and tapsWhich stickers, sticker sheets, backgrounds and pages are seen and tapped.
- SearchesWhat you search for in the Sticker Shop, and how many results came back.
- A session codeA random code for each browser tab, so one visit’s activity can be grouped together.
When you’re signed in, these are tied to your account. Creators only ever see totals, never who looked.
The services Stickerbook runs on also keep standard technical logs, like your IP address and browser type. Stickerbook doesn’t use outside analytics or ad tracking tools.
Location
Stickerbook doesn’t ask for your town. Accounts made before October 26, 2026 may have one saved from sign-up. It’s private and isn’t shown on your profile. To have it removed, email [email protected].
If you allow it, the Slap Map uses your device’s location:
- To show where you areThe “you are here” dot stays in your browser. It isn’t saved.
- To check you’re close enoughWhen you make a spot or slap a sticker, your location is checked against the spot, then thrown away. It isn’t saved.
- Spots you make are savedA spot’s location and photo are public, because spots belong to the community.
Stickerbook never uses your location anywhere else, and never tracks you in the background. You can turn location off in your browser at any time.
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you sign in with Google or Apple, Stickerbook receives your name and email from them, and from Google, your profile photo.
- Your nameFilled in as your display name. You can change it.
- Your Google photoOffered as your profile photo. It goes through the same image check as any other photo.
- Hide My EmailIf you use Apple’s Hide My Email, Stickerbook only gets the private relay address Apple gives it.
How your information is used

Who can see what
Your display name, handle, profile photo, pronouns, follower and following counts, the stickers, sticker sheets and backgrounds you sell, comments you leave, and Slap Map spots and slaps (unless you post them anonymously). Your pages too, unless your account is private.
Your messages.
Your email, date of birth, coin balance, purchases and earnings.
A private account means you approve who sees your pages. You can also hide your drawer and turn off comments. Blocking someone hides you from each other.
What goes to outside services
Stickerbook runs on these services. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.
- SupabaseStores your account, everything you post, and handles sign-in.
- NetlifyHosts the website.
- CloudflareSits in front of the website and sign-in to keep them fast and protected, so it sees your IP address and the pages you load.
- StripeCoin purchases, creator payouts and promotion card charges. Card, bank and identity details go to Stripe, not Stickerbook.
- ResendSends Stickerbook’s emails, so it gets your email address and the message.
- AnthropicRuns the checks marked “Uses AI” on the Automation and AI page: uploaded images and custom pronouns. When a person reviews a report, the reported item and some of that account’s recent activity can go to Anthropic for a second opinion, and notes for a message a person is writing can too. Anthropic doesn’t train on any of it. What goes to Anthropic.
- MapboxDraws the Slap Map, so it sees the part of the map you’re looking at.
- Google and AppleSign-in, if you use them.
- Google Fonts and code librariesThe website loads fonts and code from public services, which see your IP address when a page loads.
Stickerbook can also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or to report child exploitation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). If Stickerbook is ever sold, your information would go with it, under this policy.
Teens
You must be 13 or older. If you’re 13 to 17, a parent or guardian must know about your account.
- SuggestionsStickerbook never suggests anyone under 18 to adults, and only shows a teen’s posts in an adult’s Home if they follow the teen. Signed-in people can still find teens in search and see their pages unless the account is private. Anyone who isn’t signed in can’t see a teen’s profile, pages, comments or follows.
- Comments and messagesAdults can only comment on a teen’s page if they follow each other. Teens only get messages from people they follow.
- Mature itemsAnyone under 18 can’t get stickers, sticker sheets or backgrounds marked Mature.
- Under 13If Stickerbook learns an account belongs to someone under 13, the account and its data are deleted. Think a child under 13 has an account? Email [email protected].
Stored on your device
Stickerbook saves a few things in your browser so it works smoothly, like keeping you signed in, your basket, copies of your drawer and pages to load faster, and drafts.
While you wait for your verification email, your sign-up details, including your date of birth and photo, wait in your browser and are cleared once your account is made.
Stickerbook doesn’t use advertising cookies. Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.
Keeping and deleting
Your information is kept while your account is open.
- Deleting your accountIn Settings → Delete account. Your account is hidden right away. Log back in within 30 days to reopen it. After that, it’s deleted for good.
- What goesYour profile, email, pages, drawer, follows, blocks, coins, purchase history and Slap Map slaps. Conversations are removed for both people.
- What staysStickers, sticker sheets and backgrounds you sold stay with people who collected them, without your name. Slap Map spots you made stay, made anonymous.
- Creators with unpaid earningsYour account finishes deleting once your last payout goes out.
After deletion, Stickerbook keeps your display name, a scrambled copy of your email, when the account was made and deleted, and whether it was banned. That’s so banned accounts can’t simply come back. Reports and safety decisions are kept too. Stripe keeps its own payment records, as the law requires.
